I'll overwhelm 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's bout.

Former twice world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
